Why Buy in Southwest Florida?

Whether you approach it from an investment standpoint or a way of life perspective, owning a home in Southwest Florida is a wise decision. From the laidback lifestyle, favorable seasonal weather, and proximity to major cities, it’s clear why the Southwest Florida market is one of the most sought-after markets in Florida.

With the perfect balance between work & play, it’s no wonder residents of SWFL live such a laidback lifestyle. The coastal side of the state experiences less traffic, fewer people, quieter beaches, and an overall simpler way of living which creates the perfect recipe for a happier life. It also doesn’t hurt to wake up to 70 degrees and sunshine every morning either.

Touching on weather, compared to the other regions of Florida, the seasonal changes of SWFL are far milder. Summer lasts just over 4 months with rainy days and temperatures ranging from lows of 70 to highs around 90 degrees. The other 8 months of the year are made up of favorable temperatures with lows of only 55 degrees and the hotter days reaching only mid to high 80s.

Finally, our favorite part of Southwest Florida is the ease of access to other major cities. If you are looking to get back into the hustle and bustle of a bigger city, you can find Tampa or Miami approximately 2-3 hours away by car.
